This is a Public Hearing
We need people to turn out to a Riverside County Planning Commission hearing in opposition to a new city being developed at the south entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, between a desert tortoise linkage area and the Mecca wilderness, disrupting Box Canyon and the Painted Desert. The so-called Paradise Valley City Project will destroy important desert habitat for plants and animals in violation of Coachella Valley's Habitat Conservation Plan. You need not speak at the meeting, just show your opposition by attending. Small signs in opposition to the project will be provided. Thank you for showing your support and coming out to the meeting.
